We can honestly say we understand from both perspectives...

Travelling can be difficult, especially when you have children.

Travelling by plane is even more difficult because you not only have to deal with the pressure of calming your child if they get upset, but the pressure of having to tell your kid to be mindful of all the other passengers...

One woman recently decided to share her distaste for a screaming child on her three-hour flight on TikTok

She went as far as to say that she would pay more money for 'Adults Only' flights.

Now, as much as we form part of the parent tick box, we can completely relate to how it can be a lot to handle a screaming kid on a plane ride.

When you're a parent, you are responsible for that child and so listening to the crying and trying to deal with it is your duty. But when you are a passenger who didn't necessarily sign up for the noise pollution, it can be testing to remain calm and understanding.

So watching this woman share a video of her seated on a plane, whilst listening to a screaming child, is anything but pleasant.

But rather, we can understand to some extent. In fact we think adult only flights are a great option. Because let's admit it, on some level even parents can get iffy with a crying child on a plane ride.

Of course a video like this would be offensive to some parents who may take it a bit too personally.

And so we found she had to defend herself to some extent on the post. Check out some of the comments below:

sadhotchick: "Ugh In my last flight, I saw parents let their kids jumb between rows without even stopping them. It was a domestic flight in my home country."

goodmorningsunshineeeee: "(2) you may be mad &frustrated but that person was blind just as parents themselves are frustrated, but it’s a kid. Have some heart y’all"

One user made a very good point - be more mindful of what children go through during a flight. Some of them feel heavy discomfort with the pressure of flying. When we speak of pressure we mean actually air pressure.

As the plane ascends, their ears feel the pressure and it can be painstakingly painful...

The moral of the story, being more patient and mindful doesn't cost anything and maybe airlines should look into adults only flights.
