WATCH: Woman follows people to their cars and tries to get in with them...

What would you do if a stranger came up to your car and opened the door?
There's no doubt that when it comes to crime, we can all be a bit sensitive. And that could be for any number of reasons, whether you are a survivor of a crime or whether it's just the fear that you find haunting, everyone handles things differently.
But the one thing that we can attest to is that many of us prefer to know rather than living under rock. If anything, our drive to be in the know is purely motivated by the fact that we have little humans that look to us as their protectors, and it's better to be prepared than to react in panic.
A woman who was sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot noticed an elderly woman wandering around. The elderly woman tried to open her car doors but was unsuccessful, we assume that that was because her doors were locked.
When she was unsuccessful, she proceeded to prey on another family - a father and son. The father is on his phone and the child is following close behind. She keeps a fair distance but follows them to the their car and proceeds to open the car door as if she was going to get inside the car.
See for yourself what happens thereafter. We keep thinking, if this happened in South Africa, what would happen to her?

"When she stopped recording the TikTok, she says her boyfriend went up to the woman and told her to stop doing that since people in that area often carry weapons in their cars. At that point, she says the woman “creepily” smiled and laughed and “disappeared into the bushes. She also says she assumed the woman might have been homeless and was looking to take things from cars." (Daily Dot)
Another option put forth by TikTokers was that she may have been mentally unstable.
But this serves as a good reminder that when you are walking around in a public place, it's always best to keep aware of your surroundings, most especially when your kids are with you...
