A woman is caught feeding spider monkeys Cheetos at the El Paso Zoo in Western Texas, USA.
A woman is videoed entering a Spider Monkey enclosure at the El Paso Zoo, which is Western Texas, America. She is seen feeding the monkeys something, what she is feeding them cannot be clearly seen but some commentators have said that it is Cheetos.
More than anything, we get that funny feeling running through our backs because we know how monkeys can be. If anyone, a Durbanite can completely relate to the invasion of the monkeys in almost all neighbourhoods over the past year or so.
The El Paso Zoo officials have called this woman, "stupid and lucky", after they found out that she had climbed into the spider monkey enclosure at the zoo.
"Zookeeper Mason Kleist said the woman didn’t only put herself at risk, but endangered the two monkeys, Libby and Sunday, by feeding them. The primates have a special diet, and diverting from it could cause stomach issues." (YouTube)

The woman is said to have also put the monkeys in danger of contracting diseases, notwithstanding she has now put the relationship between the monkeys and the zookeepers in jeopardy.
The El Paso Zoo director, Joe Montisano, has said that they will be pressing charges, installing security cameras, and also making the fences higher so that something like this can be avoided in the future.
People don't understand the full effects of their choices when they decided to behave in such a manner.
Some advice, as much as we want to share, it's always advisable not to feed the monkeys, they are not pets and have a completely different set of needs, so when they come to your house, they are doing what comes naturally to them, searching for food, that by no means should you willingly give them the food.
