When it comes to pursuing our dreams, sometimes it's not easy to stay on the path and fight for what it is your heart desires. But with hard work, true dedication, and focus, anything is possible.

Uzile Ngubane, a 12-year-old singer, is living her best life as she is literally living out her dream of becoming a singer. She recently released her first song, that is dedicated to her mother and to all mothers.

Take a listen to her song, 'Momma Shine', that features her mother in the video.

Uzi H, which is her stage name, released her music video in March and has even performed her new single at the Miss Teenager South Africa pageant, as well as at the Miss and Mr Teen World.

She said that she was surprised at the positive response from the audience and also shared that she is working on new music, with an album coming soon.

Some of her favourite musos include Tyla, Nadia Nakai, and Cassper Nyovest. She also enjoys history at school and learning about ancient Egypt and the things that happened in the past, reports The Star.

We are so excited to see a young woman doing her thing and we wish her all the best on her musical journey.
