WATCH: TikToker shares a very detailed shopping list and asks, "Who can relate?"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
If you write a long, descriptive shopping list for your partner, then you have to watch this video...
When it comes to being in a relationship, there are many things that can be categorised as stereotypical of each person. Perhaps it's that the wife nags her husband to take out the trash, or the husband forgets to get something on the shopping list.
Whatever the stereotype is, when you are in a relationship, you have your ways of adapting and learning from your partner and at some point you both work to your strengths. So, for instance, if you are better or prefer doing the shopping, then you do the shopping. If you prefer washing the dishes, or perhaps you have to do it a certain way, then you do that.
It's a give and take kind of thing, well, at least that we thought it was, but then we saw this woman's video on TikTok and it confused us.
Was this an attempt at getting some reactions online, which we find many people doing, or is it authentic and does this woman really have to do this each time her husband has to go to the shop?

So we realise that this is a joke, but it represents a seriously prejudiced view of men, who are shown as incompetent. Many people came to the post and commented some didn't hold back how they really felt.
The creator posted saying that this was just a joke, and then one woman said: "I don't think so my husband actually agrees with this. He would want this."
While one young woman said: "Whenever my dad goes he buys everything we don't need and then we don't eat it and he's like why are u waiting food and we tell him we don't eat those." So, maybe, this has brought out a good marketing opportunity for retailers, creating a shopping list for their customers that allows them to check off what they want...
