WATCH: Skydiver lands in the middle of a football game, is that cause for a yellow card?

We're football fans, there's no doubting that, but we are also fans of the EXTRA in the ordinary, especially when it's unusual. So when we saw this video we had to share it with you. 

A skydiver who was doing his thing in the sky landed on a football field in Poland recently and it was caught on video. We wouldn't say it was something we get to see every day, but it sure was interesting to see the referee play along with his arrival.

Last Sunday, there was a match "between the Olimpia Elblag second team and PISA Primavera Barczewo in the Polish fifth division". The match was surprisingly interrupted by a very identifiable object that landed very close to the centre of the field, Business Insider reports.

A skydiver either got his coordination wrong or intentionally landed in the middle of the game. This earned him cred with us. Even the referee played along and handed him a yellow card.

Surprisingly, the interruption didn't halt the continuation of the game...

"After the interruption, the match restarted, and Olimpia came out on top 6-3. As for the skydiver, there's extra reason to be more careful next time - one more yellow card means an ejection," Business Insider reported.
