WATCH: Police open fire on vehicle in Cape Town

The video is like a 'Fast and Furious' movie scene gone wrong as an Audi A4 crashed into a Metro Police vehicle, resisted arrest, and attempted to escape.
Cameras were out and commuters were shocked when a car crashed into a Metro Police vehicle at the Nyanga intersection in Cape Town.

The driver had allegedly resisted arrest and this led to the police using force.
As the driver continued to resist arrest, the police started to take drastic action by shooting the car's tyres in an attempt to prevent the individual from driving away.

Although they did successfully deflate the tyres, this did not stop the Audi driver from putting the pedal to the metal and making his escape.

Eventually, the police cornered the driver at what seems to be a parking garage, where the driver crashed through the garage door.

This ride was wild from start to finish, but luckily no injuries have been reported.
There is no further information regarding the altercation at this point in time but keep an eye out for any further updates.
