WATCH: Mother who 'mooned' everyone at her daughter's sports day speaks out

She really was the 'butt' of the joke...
Not all parents willingly jump at the chance to participate at school events - especially when it comes to running around.
But we do what we have to, to show our kids that we support them and it helps them feel acknowledged and loved.
For Katie Hannaford, it took lots of begging and pleading from her eight-year-old daughter to get up and participate in the mom's race at her school sports day.
She was reluctant to participate as she is not a sporty person and considers herself quite clumsy.
But in true team player spirit, Katie decided to do it.
Not too long after the race started, Katie was left feeling embarrassed as she picked herself up off the ground and pulled down her dress that very openly revealed her buttocks to the crowd.

But we have got to love this mother for her ability to be resilient. As much as she was humiliated after what happened, she dusted herself off and owned it.
She even posted the video on the Family Lowdown group on Facebook, saying:
"My sports day fail to cheer you all up!
""If you can’t laugh at yourself then what’s life about ay! Sorry kiddo’s and anyone else watching!"
We have to agree with her, if we get caught up in the misery and forget to laugh at ourselves now and then, life's going to be pretty dull.
