WATCH: Mother frustrated with ex as they struggle to co-parent

We can't say that we know much about co-parenting when it comes to being separated or divorced from your partner, but we have certainly heard of many stories where parents struggle to find a common ground when it comes to parenting, whilst also moving on from each other on a personal level. 

It doesn't look easy at all. But we also know that it takes a lot of patience, understanding, and communication - all things that matter when it comes to being in a relationship. Because, ultimately, as much as you are no longer in an intimate relationship with your child's father or mother, you have something that connects you both.

Sometimes when a relationship hasn't had the best of endings, it can be difficult to behave in a mature or cooperative manner. Perhaps the moving on stage was easy, but there are some unhealed areas of the relationship that one or both parents are still struggling with. 

We noticed this with this TikTok mother who posted a video that has gained some attention online. When we say some attention, it received around 10-million views, with over 8,000 comments. This alone lets us know that many people can relate to the video.

One person's comment on the video received over 6,600 likes. It reads: "THEY ARE CLOTHES! This is some petty stuff... is it truly about the clothes HONESTLY!!" 

Many people came to the mom's defence, saying that she was right in marking her son's clothes labels. She made a response video explaining that her son has asked his dad about his clothes and his dad brushed it off, saying it's just clothes. She has also addressed this with the father and he gave her the same reaction. However, they managed to come to an agreement.

We just think that when it comes to dealing with such a sensitive issue, because it concerns your children, it would be better to leave social media out of it. If it's used in a productive and helpful way, then perhaps it would be healthy to share, provided you both are on the same page. 

But otherwise, it's already stressful when there are just two parents involved, imagine when there's four parents and kids from different marriages - it becomes a lot trickier. One thing to remember, put the interests of the children first and the rest will iron itself out eventually. If not, then it's best to seek outside help.
