Did you wear make-up for your wedding day?
Celebrating your big day is not just a special and auspicious day, it is a day that many couples want to make memorable. That is the reason that there is so much hype about the wedding dress, hair, make-up, nails, and jewellery.
But needless to say, there has always been this preconceived notion that the wedding is more about the bride than the groom. And that is something that is clearly changing...
An Indian bride and her groom have received much attention on Instagram recently over a video that was released on their wedding day. And, no, nothing caught on fire, no one fell or did a dance, this was all before the actual festivities.
The couple are seen talking to one another in Hindi, and what we do see is instead of the bride being adorned by the make-up artist, the groom is seated on the chair and getting his make-up done.
As much as we do not understand what they are saying, it is clear that the bride is not very happy about the groom taking up her glamour time. But nevertheless, he stands his ground and persists that he too should feel made up on his big day.
"India Today reported that when the groom was asked to let the bride get ready he simply said: “When girls can do make-up, why can't boys do so as well?“
The bride, still preparing to get ready (and probably by now, slightly irritated), then answered: “Only you will get ready. Should I come out looking like this?” (IOL)

It was reported that everything went well for their wedding day, regardless of the make-up hogger. The bridal couple both looked stunning and both managed to get their make-up done.
This got us thinking though, did you and your partner wear make-up for your wedding day? We would love to know...
