WATCH: Cute video of elephant mimicking young girl
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Just another affirmation of how connected we are to animals...
We have seen many different videos of elephant in the past. Some show their quirkiness, some their feisty and sometimes violent natures, whilst others show their immense ability to connect with humans.
And it's not just them. There are many animals out in the wild that have shown their innate ability to connect with people on a deep and profound level.
A video showing this not only marked the cuteness factor, but also peaked our interest.
A young girl who is up close and personal with an elephant is seen doing a short dance.
As she moves, the elephant watches intensely, whilst his caretaker stands close by.
Then as if to show off the elephant, imitates her moves by shaking its head and flapping its ears.

It was the comments that really got us feeling connected here.
Far too often we tend to dwell on the negative and fearful nature of wildlife, but we forget they too can have mood swings and moments of irrationality.
Check out some of the comments below:
That is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen. (And it surprises me on a scale of 1-10, 0, that elephants understand humans well. Animals are so much more intelligent than many humans give them credit for; most just don’t put any effort into seeing their brilliance).

Very cute! Very obviously both of them are enjoying & doing the best. The little girl is much appreciated for entertaining the pachyderm & the pachyderm for showing intelligence & imitating the little jig to express it's happiness.
