WATCH: Birds of a feather flock together to beat up a snake?!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Definitely not something you see every day...
It certainly isn't every day that you would see a flock of birds going into full attack mode on a snake.
But this footage truly is amazing to watch. Nature offering up a scene of good guy versus bad guy.
Well, at least in the proverbial sense.
We know and understand that nature has its own set of rules, but sometimes it feels like a win when you see the little guy taking a stand against the mean guy...
A video captured by a couple visiting the Dinokeng Game Reserve, just north of Pretoria, shows an interesting encounter.
"This incredible sighting unfolds as a flock of angry birds gang up and attacks a snake! Birds have exceptional eyesight and can spot any potential predators or dangerous animals, such as cats, snakes etc. Usually, when they do in fact spot something of a threat, they will alarm call by making a lot of noise." As much as it is part and parcel of the wild, to kill or be killed, it is still sad that the family reported that they doubt the snake would've made it out okay.
Considering that as they drove past after the encounter, they noticed the snake had in fact lost his eyes during the fight.
