UPDATE: Shopper tries KitKat cereal and is underwhelmed
Last week, we covered a story of a shopper saying she was shocked at the price of a box of KitKat cereal she found at her retailer for R250, but she also bought it to try it out...
It is anything but welcoming to deal with the rising cost of food.
We are lucky to have month-end, mid-month, and weekly savings that do give us a sense of relief now and then.
But nonetheless, we were still left gobsmacked when we saw a woman reveal the price of KitKat cereal last week.
In a video, we saw Jessie, a South African filmmaker and podcast host, show us that the 330g box of cereal was retailing for R247.99.

She was encouraged to buy the box and give invested TikTokers a review on the cereal. So, she decided to take the plunge.
Not only did she buy the box of cereal, she also took other TikTokers up on their suggestion of taking KitKat chocolate and adding it to milk, which was suggested as a more cost-effective way of having KitKat cereal.
