Great news for Mzansi and definitely something to be celebrated.
Have you ever heard of the World's Best School Prizes?
"World’s Best School Prizes celebrate schools everywhere for the pivotal role they play in developing the next generation of learners and for their contribution to society’s progress especially in the wake of COVID-19." (IOL)
If the pandemic taught us anything, it is that there is no time like the present for us to be ignitors of change. Whether that comes in the form of personal change or public change, the mere concept is vital for the progression of our society and hence our world.
And as we celebrate the values or pillars that are taken with the World's Best School Prizes, we understand why two South African schools have made the top ten shortlist.
A hearty and proud congratulations go out to Rustenberg Girls’ High School and SPARK Soweto for making the top ten.
The fact that we have been acknowledged as a country is something of a huge inspiration. It is the motivation that we need as a community to continue to work towards something great.
Considering we just celebrated Youth Day, it is a real testament and boosts for our education system.
And it certainly sets the tone for what we want to achieve for our schools around the country.

The mere diversity in the different approaches of these school announcement videos is what makes South Africa so unique.
By celebrating our differences together, we can make our country a bold and unified force to be reckoned with.
