"The Top Employers Institute Africa has published its list of the best companies to work for in South Africa in 2022." (Business Tech)
Juicy right, definitely what we want to see at the beginning of a new year. Most especially for those looking for new ventures and prospects. But we just want you to remember that these companies were considered into the list, through application.
The list of the top 20 have been assessed on the following criteria when it comes to rank.
- Talent strategy;
- Workforce planning;
- On-boarding;
- Learning & development;
- Performance management;
- Leadership development;
- Career & succession management;
- Compensation & benefits;
- Culture.
So in other words, the companies are evaluated according to their implementation of the above. Considering all of the above points, the top five include, Unilever, Accenture, Vodacom, HCL Technologies, JTI South Africa...

In light of this list, Carol Ofori wanted to share her top five wishes when it comes to the perfect work environment. Here are her ideal circumstances...
1. I want to do my show while lounging on a beanbag.
2. There must unlimited filter coffee available at all times.
3. I need to earn enough money so that I never, ever have to worry about anything.
4. I need a full hour snack time during which nobody is allowed to disturb me.
5. On Fridays my show must end at 12h00, and I must have access to an open bar and fridge for the rest of the afternoon.
