Three snack ideas for the holy month of Purtassi and Pitr Paksha
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Here's to celebrating our favourite vegetarian sweet dishes for the Hindu holy month.
As we pay tribute to our Hindu community who are observing their holy months of Purtassi and Pitr Paksha, we wanted to take a moment to share some snack ideas.
Of course, when it comes to any sort of fast, it is important to take some time to reflect on the things that are important.
Purtassi and Pitr Paksha is a significant time for Hindus who abstain from meat during the holy month.
And during this month there will be moments when you might feel for a special tea-time snack.
So, we wanted to share some firm favourites from our community.
