She was told she had weeks left to live and decided to get married to her fiancé of 10 years

What would you do if you found out you have weeks to live?
Discovering that you have weeks to live, what would be the first thing you would want to do? We always follow the mindset of living each day as if it were your last, but the reality of it is a whole other story.
Actually, being told that you have weeks to live, is something that no one wishes on anyone. It is a reality that pushes to acknowledge all the things that you haven't yet completed, all the things that you always placed on hold for the right time...
But when is the right time? If not now then when? Ann Rudock and her fiance of ten years, Keith Pearce, have been through quite a journey to be together. After finding out that Ann only has weeks to live, they decided that there was no better time than now to get married.
"The couple first met in the 1980s when they were both married to other people and then Ann moved away and Keith did not see her for more than 20 years. Ann Ruddock, who's 56, was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer last month and was originally told she had between four and six months to live. But last week, Ann's prognosis had changed - with just one to two weeks left to live." (ITV)

We cannot imagine what must've gone through their minds, considering that they have been together for a decade. But in true life-altering moments such as this, people mostly act from the heart.
"The staff at Douglas Macmillan Hospice together with Emma Wisely at Leek Weddings - which helps terminally-ill people get married - pulled out all the stops to ensure Ann and Keith got their wedding day." (ITV)
This together with the support from people on social media made their special day happen in just 48 hours. From the dress, flowers, hair and make-up to the catering, drinks, and the cake - all was covered.
It's been so overwhelming. We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their kindness. We can't believe that people who don't even know us would do so much for us.- Keith Pierce
We hope that their love story is a reminder to live your best life today, do what you want to do, you deserve happiness. Don't take that as a sign to go and spend all your savings, we mean it in a bigger picture kind of way...
