SEE: Woman charged for crying during mole removal procedure at her doctor!

Can you relate to this?
We know that when it comes to healthcare, just like any service provider, everyone doesn't have the same experience, or at least it is quite rare for people to have a shared experience.
But nevertheless it is something of a talking point, whether it has to do with a simple visit to the GP, going into labour or having surgery. Notoriously, when it comes to dishing out, people somehow flock to the podium. It is a syndrome of sorts.
A woman decided to post a pic of her medical bill that shows she was charged for a service entitled: "Brief Emotion".
"The US woman, named Midge, shared a picture of the invoice she received after a mole removal procedure. The bill also included $11 (over R136), the charge was for "brief emotion". That's approximately R815 for a "Brief emotional/behavioral assessment" - which Twitter users branded "absurd" and "ridiculous"." (MSN)
We are so confused about this. Why in the world would they charge her for crying or showing any emotion for that matter? She went for a mole removal, and pain is very much a subjective experience. Everyone experiences things differently, so it is shocking that she would be charged for showing her pain.

Many Twitter users came to her post in shock, some not so surprised by the innovation that they say the American Healthcare system owns in terms of finding ways to be creative when charging patients.
The post has over 190,000 likes and over 15,000 retweets, which shows us that many people can relate to her experience. Yes, we have heard lots of stories when it comes to doctors who have abused their power or have acted in a very unprofessional manner, but we cannot paint everyone with the same brush.
