What a way to celebrate passing matric!
It may be a stressful time for parents who have kids in matric this year, but for those who have completed their matric, it is definitely a time to celebrate.
And perhaps undertake a new form of stress... the next chapter.
But while we are in the celebratory mood, we thought it only fitting to share in the happy news of some matriculants who received distinctions.

This young man confidently shared that his parents trusted that he performed well in his final year, so much so that they bought him a new car.
Keeba, a young man from Johannesburg, showed off his new wheels on Twitter and said: "Since my parents trust me, they bought me this as "congratulations in advance", my love for 4rings #MatricResults2022" (Twitter)
"The teenager went on to inform Tweeps that his parents were right in doing so, because not only did he obtain a Bachelor’s Degree, he went on to bag five distinctions in Civil Technology, maths, physics, English and Life Orientation." (IOL)
Then we saw a Cape Town matriculant share her excitement over her new car that mom bought for her.
She posted the surprise video on her TikTok page, saying: "Girls with distinctions drive distinctive cars, right?"
Her video has gained more than two-million views and young Liso Lethu is excited to start her next chapter, which is varsity.
