Rory Petzer shines bright in the Mother City

Every week, we have to consciously remind ourselves to be grateful for what we have in life.
Carol Ofori helps everyone around South Africa with this mission with her segment, Appreciation Monday. This week, the Executive Producer of the Carol Ofori Show wanted to share his appreciation.
It is dedicated to his journey as a comedian and the amazing seven shows he recently completed in the beautiful Western Cape.
Rory Petzer embarked on his nine-day road trip where he performed at the Timeout Market at the Cape Town Waterfront on Thursday, 7 March, and completed his one-man show on Friday, 8 March, at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice Cape Town.
From there he spent Monday to Friday in Hermanus where he did a show every night of the week at a different venue as part of the annual BizNews Conference in the town. The shows were at different restaurants and all in aid of charity.
Here's what Rory had to say about it all:
I’m so grateful for all the love the people of Cape Town and Hermanus showed me. My one-man show at Protea Hotel Fire and Ice in Cape Town was a full house and I’m humbled by all the support. I was actually almost quite emotional! I’m also really grateful that I get to do what I love and make people laugh while I do it. Also, a massive thanks to Sean Peche from Ranmore Fund Management in the UK for making it all possible! What started out as a message through social media from Sean last year turned into an incredible time performing as part of the annual BizNews Conference in Hermanus. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much!
We can say with great affirmation that only great things are coming for our amazing producer, Rory Petzer. A lot of that has to do with his day-to-day vibes and all the good that he does for those around him.
His dedication and commitment to his craft have earned him a seat at the table and it's only up from here.
Rory will be taking his one-man show to Pretoria where he’ll perform at
the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice in Menlyn on Saturday, 23 March 2024.
