Office politics took on a hilarious twist with Rory Petzer, who recently tackled the topic of oversized water bottles – so massive, he jokingly calls them JoJo tanks.
A master of workplace humour, Rory has become a specialist in office personalities. During the pandemic, he gained traction with his spot-on portrayals of different work-from-home personalities in online meetings.
Over the years, he has explored many relatable workplace quirks, proving that the key to great comedy lies in finding the humour in everyday life.
This time, however, he’s zeroed in on a trend that seems to have taken over offices across South Africa: water bottles.
Staying hydrated is essential, of course. And if you ever peek into Rory’s lunch bag, you’ll find a reasonably sized water bottle – one that doesn’t claim an entire desk.
But lately, it seems office workers have taken hydration to the extreme, lugging around larger-than-life water bottles.
Rory hilariously questioned the logic behind this, especially when most offices already have water coolers for easy refills.
Yet, for some reason, these hydration enthusiasts prefer to bring their own emergency reservoirs to work.
Naturally, social media users had plenty to say, and the comments were just as entertaining as the video:
