Rory Petzer nominated for 'Sauce of the Year Award'
Executive producer Rory Petzer has been nominated for a Savanna Comics' Choice Comedy Award under the category 'Sauce of the Year'.
And who is more saucier than our very own Rory Petzer?
We're thrilled to announce that our executive producer, Rory Petzer, has been nominated for the 'Sauce Of The Year Award' at the 12th Savanna Comics' Comedy Choice Awards.
Rory earned his 'Sauce of the Year' nomination for his hilariously suspicious video that questioned the mysterious disappearance of load shedding in April 2024.
His suspicions were on point – especially the moment when the fridge admitted it hadn’t worked this hard in decades.

Rory clearly has comedy running through his veins, and he’s beyond excited about his nomination and the recognition from his peers.
"One of my favourite things to do is make people laugh and forget about all their problems, even if for just 90 seconds, so to be nominated for an award for doing that means the world to me! And, to be among such an incredible group of South African comedy heavyweights is awesome. I’m really excited!" Rory said.
