Not all creatures have to look cuddly to be cuddly...

It's rare that you find someone taking their Anaconda for a bath, but not too long ago, we saw a man give his snake a bath and another man take his snake for a burger

We have learnt that sometimes you have to expect the unexpected - especially with animal lovers. One man known for his unwavering love for exotic animals reposted a video from seven years ago in honour of World Snake Day

Exotic animals aren't often portrayed in a positive light; the movie 'Back to the Outback' was a clear indicator of that.

The man in the video is Mike Holston. On social media, he always goes by the name, The Real Tarzann

"Mike Holston is an exotic animal specialist and a zookeeper at the Zoological Wildlife Foundation of Mario and Maria Tabraue in Miami, Florida. He has a knack for learning various enrichment techniques with dangerous animals, such as iguanas and snakes, from animal experts." (Lewis Howes)

Some might say that scrolling through Holston's social media pages leaves the hairs on the back of your neck standing or sends shivers down your spine. But his love for exotic animals and animals as a whole is inspiring. He treats them with such love and nurtures them in the same way we look at our puppies.

"Mike offers friendship instead of fear with every animal he meets, which he says replaces what would be fear with trust. When there is trust, the 'fight' or 'flight' defence mechanism isn’t activated, which allows the friendship to grow." (Lewis Showes)
