Pets allowed to enjoy luxury stay at iconic Cape Town hotel
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A grand stay for you and your pooch is now possible at the legendary Mount Nelson Hotel.
We love that different industries are becoming more and more cognisant of people with pets.
For far too long, pet parents couldn't just take their furry family members with them wherever they please - especially hotels.
We can't say that we blame the leisure industry for making such rules and regulations, but we are happy to hear that an exclusive and elegant establishment that has been around for more than a century has become so inclusive when it comes to pets.
The Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town recently announced that they were open to hosting guests and their four-legged pets.
Not only do they have pet-friendly rooms, but they also have personalised welcome cards and treats upon arrival.
Check out their post below, courtesy of Instagram:
"With in-room amenities, pets can expect food and water bowls perched on a luxurious cork mat, cushy velvet pillow beds custom-made by Chommies, and a refreshing welcome drink of chilled rooibos tea. Guests can also create new memories with their four-legged friends at Afternoon Tea featuring a dedicated pet menu." (IOL)
Sounds like a pet's dream...

The Belmond Mount Nelson is taking pet-friendly to the next level, think The Queen's Corgis.
But, of course, there are some terms and conditions, which is only right considering we know what our pets can be like.
