From petrol attendant to law graduate: "I had the courage to say, let me start..."

There are definitely moments in life where we neglect ourselves. Where we get so caught up in the day-to-days that we forget to take time out to do what we want to do. Sometimes we even start living robotically, with a lack of passion and va-va-voom...

But then we hear an inspiring story of someone who stopped with the excuses, and just pushed through to achieve what they wanted. This is exactly that kind of day and we are absolutely grateful to hear about this man's accomplishing story.

It is easy to become complacent and to forget your goals and dreams, but the key is to ensure that you take the reigns of your life saddle. When you take control over what it is you want then things start changing for you. We think this is why this story is so motivating...

Siphenkosi Nqoro, who works as a petrol attendant, credited his success in graduating this year, to making the choice to study. "He shared that he chose to make this happen, and it was that first step that inspired him to reach this point.

The now 29-year-old decided to study at the age of 24 years old. He says it was that choice that drove him to success. He enrolled for a law degree at the University of Fort Hare in the Eastern Cape." (Good Things Guy)

We love how he owns his role in this huge achievement of becoming a law graduate. Self praise should be part of our daily routine, but we rarely give ourselves a tap on the back for doing good. 

It's become some sort of thing to expect praise from others but giving it to ourselves is confused with 'ego'.
