Passionate kissing caused this woman's ear to rupture

Turning up the passion can be deafening...
You wouldn't usually associate passion with injury...
But it seems the two can easily interconnect, because like all the smart people say, life is all about balance.
When you overindulge in one area of your life, then there are bound to be some effects. In this case, it was a heated moment of passion that caused some pain... literally.
In what is being called a bizarre incident, a young Chinese woman suffered a ruptured eardrum all whilst sharing a passionate moment with her boyfriend.
"Chinese media recently reported the bizarre case of a young woman from Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, who came to the ENT Department of Huizhou First People’s Hospital because she experienced mild pain and hearing loss in her left ear. Upon examining the patient, the doctor on duty found dried blood on her eardrum and a closer inspection revealed that she had suffered a traumatic eardrum perforation." (Oddity Central)
The doctor could not find anything in the woman's medical history connected to ear trauma and so when they questioned her, she revealed something quite personal.
She told them that during a moment of passion with her boyfriend, he accidentally sucked on her ear quite intensely.
“When he kissed my ear, he sucked it hard and it made a ‘pop’ sound. After that, I couldn’t hear in my left ear. I was shocked,” the woman, referred to only as Xiaohua, told the ENT doctor, adding that all she could hear was a constant buzzing accompanied by mild pain." (Oddity Central)

Although this was uncommon, the doctors revealed that it was quite possible for the 'mouth-applied suction' to qualify as an external pressure source.
“Usually, the eardrum heals by itself within two weeks to three months,” Fu Jia said. “If the eardrum has not healed in three months, external intervention may be required. If it is not repaired and the perforation remains, water can get through while bathing or swimming and may cause problems such as otitis, which can in turn cause hearing problems.” (Oddity Central)
We're certain this doesn't constitute as the most embarrassing reason one would visit the emergency room...
