Northlands Girls get teachers to sign old pics of themselves
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
The autograph trend got these teachers feeling nostalgic.

Watching employees find and print old pictures of their bosses and get them to sign them has been entertaining, to say the least. The autograph trend has led to many employees trying to catch their bosses off-guard with old photographs.
These throwback photos don’t just intrigue employees – they often leave the bosses reminiscing, too. It’s a nostalgic and lighthearted trend that’s bringing people together through shared memories.
Learners at Durban High School and Northlands Girls' High School jumped on this trend, but instead of employees and bosses, it’s students asking their teachers for autographs.
The learners confidently walked into their teachers' classrooms, clutching folded pieces of paper. With straight faces, they asked their teachers to sign – or should we say, autograph – the paper.
At first, some teachers were taken aback, puzzled by the unexpected request. But as they unfolded the paper, they were hit with a nostalgic surprise – a throwback photo of themselves. Laughter quickly followed as they reminisced about their past.
Others, more sceptical, questioned their students, trying to uncover the reason behind the sudden interest in their signatures.
In the end, the trend sparked plenty of laughter and created a memorable moment where students and teachers connected in a fun way.
