It seems we have to be vigilant at all times - you cannot let your guard down...
We don't want to be the bearers of bad news, especially with the festive season officially underway.
But the truth of the matter is that crime doesn't go on holiday. Therefore, we have to be on the lookout for whatever scams and tricks criminals have up their sleeves and be prepared.
This is why we wanted to share a potential new scam that is targeted at businesses.
Entrepreneur, TV host, and actress, Sendra Masiteng, recently shared a video on her TikTok informing all business owners of a scam that it making its rounds.
She shares that criminals now have replica card machines. They simply come into businesses and try their best to distract you and switch the card machines.
Of course, these replicas are so much like the originals, that not many would be able to tell the difference.
