Ramadan is the holy month of fasting, reflection, and community, offering a time for spiritual growth and self-discipline.
During this period, the humble date fruit makes its way into the homes of many Muslim families observing fast. While dates are enjoyed year-round, they hold special significance during Ramadan.
Historically, dates were among Prophet Muhammad’s most cherished foods, and many Muslims continue to include them in their diet beyond Ramadan, embracing them as part of the prophetic tradition.
Beyond their cultural and religious significance, dates have gained popularity worldwide for their natural sweetness, nutritional benefits, and versatility in various dishes.
Eating dates isn’t just celebrated in the Muslim community – it's also inspired creativity in unexpected ways.
A digital content creator, known for sharing diverse content with an audience of over 339,000 Instagram followers, recently sparked excitement online with a unique take on the beloved fruit.
In the video, a woman crafts a manicure inspired by the rich texture and deep hues of dates. She mixes colours to get the perfect shade and then applies cling wrap to her nails to get the desired texture of dates.
