Earlier this year, Mummy and Daddy Pig announced they are expecting another baby.

After announcing her pregnancy in late February on the 'Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce' podcast, excitement has been steadily building. What’s been even more impressive is how effortlessly the Peppa Pig brand has brought Mummy Pig’s journey into the real world.

In addition, the Peppa Pig team planned an elaborate gender reveal for Mummy Pig at London's Battersea Power Station. The baby's gender was announced by flickering lights on the chimneys.

According to LBC, "The station's chimneys were lit in pink, signifying Mummy Pig's third baby will be a girl. A gender reveal episode is expected to go live on YouTube on May 3, as part of the Peppa Pig table series."

The iconic location was chosen because it is home to the world's first ever permanent Peppa Pig store.

Mummy Pig is voiced by actress and comedian Morwenna Banks, while Amelia Bea Smith has taken on the role of Peppa Pig since 2020.

The show first premiered in 2004 on Channel 5's Milkshake and Nick Jr, and today, it’s broadcast in more than 180 countries and translated into over 40 languages.
