Mom creates online outrage when she says her kids bath once a week

"I have four children. I'm not going to fight with my kids over little stupid things like bathing."

When Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis revealed their hygiene habits, there was much discussion about how many times we should bathe in a week.

But that was over two years ago, and the thought of parents not bathing their kids still irks people. A video shared on TikTok by The Him and Her Show has ruffled some feathers about the same topic.

This time, it was a Holistic Nurse Practitioner, Veronica Max, who shared that her kids bathe maybe once a week.

Veronica revealed that she lets her kids do what they want. She has four children between the ages of two and ten. She said: "I have four children. I'm not going to fight with my kids over little stupid things like bathing."

She spoke about how they have a pool and how the kids enjoy swimming during the summer. According to the kids, swimming is considered a 'bath'.

Max is a progressive parent and shared that her priority with her kids is to have them make their own decisions.

Of course, people were happy to share their opinions.

  • "Swimming to replace bathing is crazy work"
  • "Working in healthcare and having this POV is wild"
  • "As a Latina, we bathe 2 times a day - morning and night. On hot summer days, he gets 3 baths, one after the park."
  • "My African parents would scream listening to this"
  • "Swimming in chlorine on a daily basis, hair & all. & NOT BATH is crazy"
  • "This is just lazy parenting :( Kids can’t do whatever, it’s your job as a parent to teach them habits, especially hygiene"
  • "Children need to be taught how to be hygienic. This is disgusting"
