Matriculant uses innovative way to salvage his school shoes

Shoes mean something different to different people. Some pay them great respect and are all about showing off and caring for their kicks. 

Others aren't really concerned by them and there are those that even walk around without them. 

But when it comes to school shoes, there's no love lost (for the most part). It's always something of a sensitive topic because not all kids have school shoes. 

With kids growing sporadically, they tend to outgrow their school shoes at different times, but some kids have the polar opposite issue with their school shoes.

We think that was the case for this young man who recently shared a video of his school shoes. 

His shoe looks shiny and clean, but it seems it is bursting open at the mouth area. 

And since it is so close to the end of the school year and moreover his last year in school, instead of getting a new pair of shoes, he opted for a repair.

It was quite admirable of him to use this quick fix to repair his school shoes, whereas some kids would ask for new ones. 

And let's be honest, many of us have done this at least once in our lives with a pair of shoes that we loved. 

A mother commented on the post saying: "My baby was doing that when she was doing grade 12 she said u can't buy new shoes on my last term."
