LISTEN: Little Kgotso and his love for breakfast sends us a voice note!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Two-year-old Kgotso caught our hearts when he was captured making breakfast in his mum's room at 3 am. He decided to chat to us about it.
We first got introduced to little Kgotso when his mum shared a video of him making breakfast in her room at 3 am. We, of course, thought it was absolutely adorable and simply had to chat to the mom.
Tiffani Hein and her husband run The Maletsatsi Foundation and get the opportunity to meet all kinds of kids, care for them, and give them love. Kgotso, as Tiffani puts it, is "cute, but soooo naughty".

Here's one instance of him making milk for one of the other kids (video courtesy of Instagram):
After chatting with Tiffani, we found out that she and her husband started this initiative officially last year, but they have been acting as a place of safety for kids for around six years. After losing her company and her job, she realised that they would need some sort of outside funding, traditionally prior to COVID-19 they were self-funded.
The number of children that needed a safe place to stay increased after the COVID-19 pandemic hit and they were overwhelmed with an influx of kids, which pushed them to register their foundation so that they could keep things transparent and also to allow them to receive donations.
