Art has historically been something that provides us with a sense of beauty, it comes in different forms and can be completely enlightening. Many times, artists find their niche in varied ways; some paint, some tattoo, some craft, and some needle. It really can be a form that has endless expressions.
We found this amazing artist from Amanzimtoti who is sharing her talent with the Sapphire Coast. She has turned a somewhat boring and plain space into an illusion that literally pulls you in.
Christine Andrews shares her story with us and her words resonate well, especially so in a time that is filled with uncertainty when it comes to the arts and entertainment industry.
She has persevered when it comes to her passion and shares some anecdotes about her life. She has been to many places in South Africa and has settled in the Amanzimtoti area because she loves the ocean. She hopes to someday go back to Cape Town, but for now she is spreading the beauty with her amazing mural paintings.

Her words are both inspiring and she shares such wisdom and love when she spoke to us about the projects that she has taken on with the Sapphire Coast Tourism. It is clear that she is truly passionate about spreading love and beauty around the province.
Her goal is to one day paint a skyscraper building so that more people can see her work and she can share her vision with the city. What started off as a chat about her mural project, turned into a motivational chat and she certainly left us with some wisdom, in a time where things sometimes look blurry.
Check out some of her murals from her latest project.
