Kids don't order off the kiddies menu anymore...

Kids no longer want chicken strips and chips...

Even though taking the kids out can be expensive, it is something that most parents try to do for their kids often.
It is a treat that kids expect as they grow. But more than that, we have found that more and more kids are learning to nurture their passion for good food. Kids' palettes are still looking for more than what's on the kiddie's menu.
They are learning more about flavours and textures and experiencing foods you wouldn't usually expect a child to want to try. Planning meals for kids isn't only about seeking nutrition; it's also about taste.
A mom who is also an entrepreneur from New York shared a video that got us thinking about the new age of kids.
In the video, we see her older daughter sitting in her swimsuit at a restaurant, eating a plate of mussels. Where once we could expect the kids to order a bowl of chips or a pizza after a swim in the pool, she changed the script in classing up the food kids are interested in.
When she notices her mom videoing her, she gives her this cheeky look; it is the most adorable. You go girl, eat your mussels, expand your palette.
