may have found our dream job.
Streaming services are fast-becoming the most popular way to consume content. Whether it be giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Showmax, Apple Music, Spotify or others, users are turning to subscription-based streaming services as a cheap and legal way of consuming content.
As the war wages on between streaming platforms, especially between video streaming services, content has proven to be king. So, companies are spending a lot of money testing out potential content with audiences.
In a bid to do just that, MagellanTV, a documentary streaming service, has put out a job spec looking for people to watch 24-hours of uninterrupted true crime documentaries – and it seems like the dream job for so many!

"Our candidate has a passion for all things true crime," the job spec reads on the company website. "They can handle the creepiest serial killer, the grizzliest details, and the haunting spookiness of the paranormal."
Whoever is ultimately hired for the job will be tasked with watching 16 documentaries over a 24-hour period - including ‘Manson 40 Years Later’ and ‘Columbine Massacre: In the Killer's Mind.’

The successful candidate will need to record their entire experience so "their followers can watch to see if they crack...or not," the website says.
The lucky candidate will also score a R14 000 paycheck for just 24-hours of work as well as a 1-year free membership to MagellanTV, and three 3-month memberships for friends and family.
