It's that time again, what's your favourite hot cross bun?

It's that time again, what's your favourite hot cross bun?

What's your flava, tell us what's your flava...

Hot cross buns are an Easter favourite in many South African homes. And let’s be honest – some of us enjoy them all year round.

There’s something comforting (and nostalgic) about that warm, spiced smell and soft, fruity bite. Add some melted butter, and maybe some jam, and it’s pure joy – especially with a cup of tea.

These days, you’ll find all sorts of hot cross buns on the shelves. From fruitless to chocolate hot cross buns, there’s something for everyone. Because, believe it or not, not everyone’s a fan of squishy raisins or sultanas.

And just like that, while Woolworths has kept us happy with our hot cross bun fix, Woolworths Australia has us feeling a little left out.

Why? Because they’ve released two limited-edition flavours – and we’ve got major FOMO.

An Aussie content creator shared a video showing off two mouth-watering flavours, Biscoff and Cinnabon. Yes, really.

Take a moment to imagine that.

The smell of Cinnabon alone is enough to make us float. Now picture that magic in a hot cross bun...

We hate to do this to you, but you have to see how good they looked in the video.

The Cinnabon one was filled with sweet cream cheese, and the Biscoff bun had Biscoff filling oozing out.
