With the price of groceries skyrocketing each time you visit the supermarket, we have to admit we got a bit excited after watching this video.
The video showed an older woman standing at the till point of a Pick n Pay store looking both surprised and shocked - the happy kind of shock...
Then you read the text overlay on the video which reads: "When my mom got almost R7k worth of groceries for R5".
It seems the TikToker who posted it is the daughter of the woman in the video.
She did in fact win her groceries to the value of almost R7,000 for R5.00.
This was all during a promotion at Pick n Pay in 2020 in the pandemic. What a time to be shopping...
