Groom gifts his bride a cash cape worth R467k

Is this really the way you make your bride feel like a queen on her wedding day?

It is customary for the groom to give his bride a gift after their wedding.

Most of the time, it is a piece of jewellery, a holiday or something sentimental. We rarely hear about it being cash money...

A groom from the Philippines decided to surprise his bride with a long roll of cash. And it's not what you think, it's not your average roll of dough. It's more... much, much more.

In a video shared on Instagram, we see a bride and groom at their wedding reception. The groom happily pulls cash from a suitcase and unfolds it in the aisle.

The cash inside the plastic unfolds into a cape, and the groom happily ties the strings around his bride's neck.

The bride happily smiles throughout the whole reveal - of course she would, considering the value is said to be $25,000 (R467738,75). This is what we like to call the perfect wedding...
