Grandmother's blunt response to grandbaby announcement goes sideways...
Updated | By East Coast Radio
"Another one, already? You can't handle the two you have..."
Hearing a baby announcement is one of the happiest things a family can experience.
Especially when it comes to the doting grandparents. You always envision them to be the happiest because new life brings everyone joy. And, of course, you would imagine that they would want their families to be big and bountiful...
But that was not the case with this grandmother who is gaining mixed reaction online for what can only be described as brutal honesty.
A video that was shared on TikTok a few days ago shows a grandmother holding an ultrasound scan in her hands.
She then faces her daughter to say, "Another one, already."
It is definitely not the most ideal way of receiving happy news. Especially because this is obviously a special moment for mom and dad who are expecting.
She goes on to express her feelings, which we can only describe as disappointment.
And her daughter's face says it all as she sits there completely shocked at her mother's words.
If anything, it feels super awkward for us watching it, because even if this is really how she felt and she wasn't just kidding around (we hope that was the case), she didn't need to tell them...
Some things are best not spoken out loud...
And, grandma, this was not the time or place to have been this honest.

This is perhaps a talk you should've had with your children before finding out they were pregnant.
Because if as an elder you see your kids need support or guidance, is it not your place to help mentor them?
