Have you done something kind today?
After hearing that there is a new variant of the COVID-19 strain, we desperately want to gravitate towards all sorts of feel-good news. And this story inspired some feel-goodness that we all needed to see.
Life can get super busy and we sometimes forget how to be human. Sometimes we are so focused on getting by the day that we forget to be kind, share some love, and mostly take time to do something humanly.
We recently saw some random signs placed on the M4, Ruth First Highway, and it got us thinking how sometimes all it takes is a little bit of time and effort to make someone else's day; it reminded us that we are all connected to each other in some way...
These firefighters took the time and effort to help an old lady cross a busy road. They used their fire truck to block off oncoming traffic on a busy motorway in Russian province of Kaliningrad, to help a lady cross over.

The funny part of the whole affair being shared on Twitter was when tweeps came through with their commentary. Many brought up the fact that there should be a crossway on the busy highway, while others commended the firefighters for having 'kindness' embedded on their DNA.
Love these guys.Great respect and compassion. We should all watch out and slow down. Kindness spreads

That’s nice but where are the crosswalks or pedestrian overpasses? Will the fire people be there every time she needs to cross?
