EXCLUSIVE: Tinashe Venge gets real about his battle with COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many in the world, but it seems that it is starting to hit closer to home as more people are seeing family members, friends, and colleagues being hit by this virus.
The struggles that have surrounded the coronavirus pandemic are nothing new.

People have lost their jobs, whole industries have been forced to shut down, and, of course, the medical industry has been brought to its knees.
Most of all, it seems that going into 2021, almost every single person knows someone who has been infected with COVID-19 or has had the virus themselves.

Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to recover from this deadly disease and many have had to deal with the loss of loved ones.
While the numbers rise and things might seem scarier than ever, there is still hope.

A few weeks ago they were texting each other on WhatsApp and Tinashe let her know that he might be taking a week off as he wasn't feeling well.

Fast forward to January 2021 and while wishing each other a Happy New Year, he casually let her know that he had just recovered from COVID-19.
She was shocked because this was someone bright, young, and healthy who had been infected.
Not only that, she has known him for a long time.

Since Tinashe is always giving updates about everything that's happening in and around the world, conveying other people's stories, Carol wanted to give him the opportunity to share his account of coming face to face with this unforgiving virus.
