Durban graduates come together to celebrate their milestone achievements
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A KZN student decides to celebrate a memorable moment with fellowgarduates on the streets of Durban.
With the third wave - and the veil of negativity that comes with it - it isn't easy to keep your spirits up when it comes to celebrating your accomplishments.
But this young Durbanite/graduate/entrepreneur didn't allow the pandemic to stop her from bringing the community of graduates together to celebrate their achievements.
Minenhle Petunia Goge, an Honours Graduate from the University of Kwazulu Natal, decided to post on her social media and ask other graduates if they would be interested in celebrating their graduation by marching together in Durban. She received an amazing response from other students and so decided to organise the "KZN Street Graduation".
It was then that Minenhle decided to create this awesome initiative, that was COVID-19 compliant, and allow students to celebrate their victories and their accomplishments.
LISTEN to her chat about what motivated her to organise the event, her post-graduation plans and her beauty business.
