Unless he was trying to "Shake Her Down" for the meat she just cashed up...

If you remember 'Shake You Down', then you're our kind of people. Hearing it always takes us back to the classics – especially the Classic Hits with Deon G at 8 pm Monday through Thursday.

But recently, it’s been given a new twist. Brady Lee confidently used Gregory Abbott's smooth hit to serenade a cashier at Bluff Braai and Grill store in Galleria Mall.

Not exactly a typical shopping experience, but it definitely caught our attention. His confidence was impressive, but the real highlight? The cashier’s priceless reaction.

In the video, Lee grabs a Nando's Hot Sauce bottle to use as a microphone and then mouths the lyrics to 'Shake You Down' to the cashier, who looks more confused than anything else.

Although we might be misreading the situation, it almost seems like an elaborate prank to charm the cashier – perhaps even to distract her while sneaking in a cheeky discount.

But this cashier didn’t look easily fooled. Her expression said it all: "Boy... what are you doing? I have customers to serve."

Here's what people had to say.

  • "And at the end, she asked him, "Do you want a plastic?"

  • "He was distracting you, did he pay for that sauce."

  • "That spicy kinda love...Sponsored by Nando's."

  • "Her expression was priceless."

  • "Babe, you should have posted the whole video...we invested."

  • "Her expression is priceless. South Africa is on another level. Love it."
