Durban child in Joburg knows the lingo
Durban has a way of staying with you...
Anyone from Durban will tell you there is something special about being a Durbanite.
The sights, sounds, ocean breeze, and people leave your heart with good energy. We have often heard tourists speak fondly about the people of Durban and KwaZulu-Natal.
But it took one young girl to remind us that the slang that Durbanites use is classically Durban.

Something is amusing about hearing kids speak slang; it is not that we want to encourage them to talk about slang, but it is just a natural part of growing for them to repeat what they hear and see.
Mum says they have moved to Johannesburg, but you cannot take the Durban out of this little sport.
