Dog gets feisty with dad over grooming his nails
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Even dogs don't enjoy cutting their nails, it's not natural for them...

As dog lovers, people often think we are slanted in our relationships with our pups.
Slanted in the sense that we always 'pet' them. Ironically, it is quite the opposite; parenting your dog is like parenting a child in many ways. Dogs, too, get fussy and have tantrums.
An example was seen in a video of a dog dad trying to cut his Rottweiler's nails. The two turned their fight into a growling match.

We asked our resident Dog Dad, Rory Petzer, about his experience grooming Pongo and Benson's nails, and this is what he had to say.
This is so relatable! We have a Rottweiler named Benson and every time we need to cut his nails, it involves waiting until he’s completely relaxed on the couch, tickling his belly for 10 mins, sneaking closer with the clippers, and having a massive stack of treats to bribe after each nail! Our wired haired terrier, Pongo, is even worse and the vet needs to sedate to him to get it done!- Rory Petzer
