Some people run when they see the police, but the cheeky ones? They seize the moment for a little mischief.

Enter Siso Nduna, a young man causing a stir on social media, who took things up a notch by casually approaching alleged criminals in the back of a SAPS (South African Police Service) van.

The van was parked outside a KFC, and as Nduna walked out with his meal, curiosity got the better of him. He decided to strike up a conversation, eager to find out how they'd landed up there.

With a box of KFC in hand, Nduna playfully dangled his food like bait, coaxing some answers from the trio. But in the end, they didn’t earn the chicken – just a few chippies.

According to Nduna, the three men ended up in the van after the police found drugs at their house.

People quickly came to the comments, joking that Nduna was adding "hope" to his community. Initially, the men were tight-lipped about their situation, but the irresistible aroma of KFC eventually won them over. They confessed that they had been using drugs in their home.

While many praised Nduna for showing kindness, others couldn’t help but laugh at the underlying reality that South Africa often feels like one big joke.
