Carol Ofori: "What I thought this year was going to be versus what it was"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
"I mean, 2022 has been a great year!"
It takes a special kind of person to learn from the year, and as much as life came with its trials and tribulations, consciously choosing to celebrate the wins of 2022 is important.
That special person is our Daytime Diva, Carol Ofori. Not only has she had a big year, but she chose to persevere when she faced obstacles along the way.
We took the time to ask her about her year, because as you know, when the year starts, we all set goals for ourselves.
Whether that meant hitting a familial milestone, a career milestone or just a self-learning one, when you feel some sort of way about coming close or knocking your goals out the park, it is worthy of a share.
For Carol, she says that overall it has been a good year. Besides the fact that her books went on sale, she got nominated twice at the National Radio Awards.
She also got nominated for an international voice over award - and openly owns the fact that she is doing a kick ass radio show.
When you push for what you want in life, and you work for it, somehow everything sort of aligns. And that is something that comes with sticking to your plan.
Being consistent is key in your line of achievement. If you want something you have to work towards it. It doesn't happen overnight, but it happens gradually - and with consistency comes greatness.

If there is one thing that Carol Ofori has taught us is that even when you are feeling ill, you have to show up.
And she physically showed us that over 2022, when you have people relying on you to share your wisdom and add a little spice to their day, you cannot let anything get in your way.
