Carol Ofori speaks to Ugandan journalist about politician Bobi Wine being under house arrest

But the focus for the day is on the current political climate in Uganda.
Uganda held its general elections on the 14th of January and Yoweri Museveni won the election, continuing his presidential reign.
Throughout the whole process, many claimed that election fraud was evident in the win and the country has even exploded into a violent rage.

All while President Museveni is showing no signs of worry.
That is not the same situation his opposition are finding themselves in.
Bobi Wine, the stage name for 38-year-old musician Robert Kyagulanyi, who was the main presidential candidate for the opposition, has spoken up and is making claims that his life is in danger, as well as his family's.
Day Six under house arrest and we're still stuck with an 18 months old baby who had paid a visit to her auntie (my wife ) be4 we were raided & besieged. The Dad has been denied access to her. Many things surrounding Uganda's politics and the country's current government situation remain unclear.
There are always two sides to any story and although Carol can't speak to the president himself, she did get in contact with a journalist for The Uganda Observer.

With things looking very unclear to the outside world, and tremors of political and civil unrest bubbling so close to the Ugandan surface, who knows what could happen next?
