Carol Ofori: "I'm taking Serwaa to work with me"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
It's an unofficial take your kid to work day for Carol and Greg Ofori...
It's holiday time, and as exciting as it can be for the kids to finally have a break, it can also be stressful for parents.
In particular, some parents who don't have help caring for their kids while they are at work feel stress during the holidays. Carol and Greg Ofori are in a bind as they have no one to look after their kids today.
This means that they have had to create an unofficial/official 'take your kids to work' day for their kids, Sena and Serwaa.
These circumstances were not planned, but Carol and Greg Ofori are welcoming it with open arms.
While Carol and her daughter, Serwaa

, are visiting the office today, Greg will be taking Sena, their son, to his office. It is the cutest thing for us because they get to experience their parents in their work habitat. We asked Carol to share a few words with us about today's 'take your kids to work day'.
I think every parent should try at some point to take their kids to their workplace. Just so the kid gets a picture of when you say, 'I'm at work', what that work looks like. It immerses them into another space of who you are and what you do, and they have a different appreciation of the word 'work'. I'm a big advocate for that. My dad took me to work once when I was younger, and I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I nearly shut down the entire business because I pressed some buttons on the computer, but it was something special. I think if you can take your kid to work, it just exposes them to something new. Serwaa will be with me, and Sena will be with Greg in the engineering space.- Carol Ofori
